All claims for parts or labor must be made directly through Xiltek by the customer. All claims should include: model number of the unit, the serial number, proof of purchase, date of installation, and all pertinent information supporting the alleged defect. In case of compressor replacement under warranty, either compressor or compressor tag must be returned to Xiltek along with above listed information. Failure to comply with warranty policies will result in voiding claims. Warranty cannot be transferred if the original unit(s) are sold to another business unless otherwise granted.
One Year Parts Warranty
Xiltek warrants all new refrigerated components, the cabinet and all parts, to be free from defects in materials or
workmanship, under normal and proper use and maintenance service as specified by Xiltek and upon proper
installation* (indoor building only) and start-up in accordance with the instruction packet supplied with each
Xiltek unit. Xiltekʼs obligation under this warranty is limited to a period of twelve (12) months after shipment date from Xiltek.. Any part, covered under this warranty, that are by Xiltek to have been defective within one year or twelve (12) months after shipment date from manufacturer may qualify for replacement or other under Xiltek's jurisdiction. (*Installation in unstable, mobile, and enclosed area may not be considered as proper installation. Remote units are limited to one-year parts warranty, relative only to original cabinet components. No labor will be covered). Parts are subject to availability and will be provided based on when possible
Five Year Compressor Warranty
With the (1) year warranty stated above, Xiltek warrants its compressor to be free from defects in
both material and workmanship under normal and proper use and maintenance service for a period of five (5)
years from the date of original installation. Compressor determined by Xiltek to have been defective within this extended period will, at Xiltekʼs discretion, be either repaired or replaced with a compressor or compressor parts of similar design and capacity. The five (5) year compressor warranty applies only to hermetically sealed parts of the compressor and does not apply to any other parts or components, including, but not limited to, cabinet, paint finish, temperature control, refrigerant, metering device, driers, motor starting equipment, fan assembly or and other electrical components, etc.
What Is Not Covered In This Warranty?
Xiltek's sole obligation under this warranty is limited to either repair or replacement of parts, subject to the additional limitations below. This warranty neither assumes nor authorizes any person to assume obligations other than those expressly covered by this warranty. If a customer contacts a 3rd party company to alter the unit in any way the warranty is then voided and Xiltek cannot reimburse or pay in any way.
XILTEK IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ECONOMIC LOSS, PROFIT LOSS, OR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSSES OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM FOOD OR PRODUCT SPOILAGE CLAIMS WHETHER OR NOT ON ACCOUNT OF REFRIGERATION FAILURE.
This warranty is not assignable and applies only in favor of the original purchaser/user to whom delivered. ANY SUCH ASSIGNMENT OR TRANSFER SHALL VOID THE WARRANTIES HEREIN MADE AND SHALL VOID ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Xiltek assumes no liability for parts or labor coverage for component failure, factory defect or any other damages for units installed in non-grounded business including but not limited to: outdoors, mobile kitchens, food trucks, concession stands or residential applications (see residential usage). Additionally, Xiltek reserves the right to void warranty where deemed necessary in connection to be found on an application such as food service applications, outdoors, mobile kitchens, food trucks, concession stands or residential applications.
XILTEK ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR PARTS OR LABOR COVERAGE FOR COMPONENT FAILURE OR OTHER DAMAGES RESULTING FROM IMPROPER USAGE, IMPROPER TRANSPORTATION (SUCH AS MOVING UNITS IN AND OUT OF FOOD TRUCKS, ETC) OR INSTALLATION OR FAILURE TO CLEAN AND/OR MAINTAIN PRODUCT AS SET FORTH IN THE WARRANTY PACKET PROVIDED WITH THE UNIT.
Xiltek is not responsible for the cost to move a cabinet for any reason from its position of operation on the customer's premises to make a warranty repair.
Xiltek is not responsible for the repair or replacement of any parts that Xiltek determines have been subjected after the date of manufacture to alteration, neglect, abuse, misuse, accident, damage during transit or installation, fire, flood, or any other natural disaster.
XILTEK IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF FAILED OR DAMAGED COMPONENTS RESULTING FROM INCORRECT SUPPLY VOLTAGE, THE USE OF EXTENSION CORDS, LOW VOLTAGE, OR UNSTABLE SUPPLY VOLTAGE.
THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, EXCEPT THE ONE (1) YEAR PARTS WARRANTY AND FIVE (5) YEAR COMPRESSOR WARRANTY AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. THESE WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTY AND MERCHANT-ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF.
In the case that a commercial unit was ordered for a residential location and is being used for home purposes (garage, basement, etc.) the warranty is voided. Xiltek can NOT ship to residential addresses.
